We are a family run business and our approach is driven from a Health, Safety and Welfare Background with a real focus on achieving your project requirements in a way that adds value and ensures the safety and welfare of all those involved in the project.
Starting my career as a Soldier in the Royal Engineers when i left the Military in 2006 I became a self employed electrician and construction worker and over the next 7 years i worked my way through a number of businesses and numerous qualifications and experiences to become the Director or Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality of a large Demolition Contractor. In September 2013 I became the Operational Safety Manager for a Large PLC which included Demolition and Decommissioning and was involved in a number of high profile demolition and decommissioning projects such as:-
- Fawley Southampton, Exxon petrochemical decommissioning including asbestos and chemical
- Stanlow Oil refinery demolition works for Shell
- Paisley site decommissioning works for BASF
At this stage i realised that the demolition and decommissioning process are very fragmented and with my core skills combined – Military, Electrician, Health and Safety Professional, Demolition Professional that I could establish a business to provide a much more coherent service within the industry and Hace was born.
